About

The Golf industry is full of new technology and advice abounds on the Internet for those earnestly seek to make improvement to their golf game. Who can you trust? Where can you turn?
A good place to start is reputable sources. However, just because someone has a good reputation and perhaps charges thousands of dollars for lessons does not necessarily make them a good fit for you.

Then you have the transformation case study. A golfer who hits the highs and lows and who forced themselves to play better through hard work and effort. With this in mind let me introduce you to Confident Golfer.

History

When I was 7 I picked up my first golf club. Sadly I did not get too many chances to play as golf was just a family past time. Over the next few years I would have the brief dance with golf but that was as far as it went. When I was 13 I bought my first set of clubs from the local charity store. Every club was different, but I didn’t care. And I would head to the local course as often as I could to smash balls with no real direction of guidance. As far as I was concerned I loved it no matter where the ball went. Fast forward 15 years and a number of round totally 4 or 5 per year I decided I was going to turn pro. I was 30 years old and had the idea of joining the Seniors Tour at 50. I figured I had 20 years to accomplish it.

Over the next few years I went on an interesting journey, however in my quest to turn pro I came to many different conclusions. The most important one, was that there was more to life than golf. After all, I had a family and many other responsibilities. However during this time I came to appreciate that I had built up and gained a lot of knowledge which led me to realize that I had in fact gained all the necessary skills to become an educator and pass on this information to Amateur golfers.
